Bod Hyfryd B&B

Located on the coast of the beautiful Isle of Anglesey, Bod Hyfryd (“Beautiful dwelling”) is a house with a fascinating history….a former Captains House, it was built for Captain Ismael Williams in 1874; he was the master of a locally made 3-masted schooner called “The Gaelic”, which regularly sailed from Amlwch Port to South America and beyond

Today it has been lovingly restored, but still retains a lot of the original features, including roof timbers reclaimed from old ships

You will find a warm welcome from your hosts Julie and Pete, with the promise of total relaxation and peace and quiet, due to our rural location. If you like waking up to nothing more than the sound of birdsong, or gazing at the stars whilst soaking in our eco-friendly wood-fired hot tub, whilst Owls fly overhead…then Bod Hyfryd is the place for you!
